Ember Drop
Drop glowing orbs into the jar, merge matching ones into bigger and brighter flames, and keep the pile below the line as you grow a Solar Core. Bigger orbs take you through five worlds, from the Cold Kiln to the Solar Observatory. Play endless, or take on the daily jar, where everyone drops the same orbs each day.

Controls
Drag to aim the orb above the jar and let go to drop it, or just tap where you want it to fall. On a keyboard, the left and right arrows aim (hold to glide) and Space, Down or Enter drops. Escape pauses.
Merging
When two matching orbs touch, they merge into the next size up, eleven in all from the little Spark to the blue-white Solar Core, and bigger merges score more. Two Solar Cores burn out together for the biggest score of all. Merges that follow each other within about a second build a chain, and every link after the first adds a bonus, up to double points at five. You always drop one of the five smallest orbs, and the preview shows the one after it.
Power-ups
Every run starts with one of each, and each button shows how many you have left. Undo takes back your last drop, score included. Blast removes any orb you tap. Continue, offered once when the jar overflows, clears the three highest orbs so you can play on.
Fill line
The dashed line near the top of the jar is the limit. If an orb stays above it for two seconds, the run ends, so watch for the line pulsing. An orb you just dropped only counts once it lands on something.
Worlds
Every run starts in the Cold Kiln. Your first Blaze of the run takes you to the Ember Forge, a Comet to the Molten Core, a Sun to the Star Forge, and a Solar Core to the Solar Observatory, the last of the five. A new run starts back in the Cold Kiln.
Goals and codex
Each run sets one goal, shown under the score: make an orb you haven't found yet, build a chain, make three of one kind of orb, or reach a score a little above your best. Finish it for 500 bonus points. The book button opens the codex, which shows every orb you've made on this device with its name and merge points, and the ones still to find as dark shapes.
Daily jar
Between runs, the Endless and Daily switch picks your mode. In the daily jar, everyone drops the same orbs in the same order, so scores compare fairly. Play it as often as you like: your best run of the day counts, and a new jar starts at midnight UTC. The Week board adds up your daily bests from Saturday to Friday, and playing on days in a row builds your day streak.
